Submit one copy and an original of the GWEF Grant Application (General Information Page, Narrative, Complete Budget and any other relevant attachments). Applications will not be considered by the board if this requirement is not met. Drop Application off at Administration Building.
The Purpose of the Flexible Fund grant is to fund selected time-sensitive opportunities for GWISD students and/or staff that did not present themselves in time for the previous regular GWEF grant cycle and also will have been missed if not funded before the next regular GWEF grant cycle is completed. Grants will be considered immediately and responded to within one week of receipt.
The GWEF was founded to raise funds that would be distributed back to our educators based on their needs to provide educational material that could not be funded by our school budget. The regular grant cycle opens on the first day of school and the deadline to turn in 2024 grant applications is March 21, 2024.
The grant request will be given to the GWEF board members and will then be decided on approval based on the availability of funds. The board will contact all applicants to let them know if their grant has been approved or not.
The GWEF has the right to contact any applicant to research request and to ask for possible adjustments to their request if needed.
DEADLINE for the Regular Grant Application is on March 21, 2024.
